Bathrooms

There are three bathrooms available for our guests. Each guest is provided one bath towel, a hand towel and a wash cloth.

New Upstairs Bathroom

Upstairs in the old house is a newly renovated and enlarged bathroom with a large walk-in shower. To accommodate four guests upstairs, the bathroom will have hooks, baskets (large and small), drinking glass and towel bars - all color coded for each guest.

Just off the workspace is a lovely new bathroom with similar accommodations for the four guests who may be using the two bedrooms next to the workspace.

New Main Floor Bathroom
Bathroom With Soaker Tub

Keeping with the charm of this old house, an additional bathroom is located on the main floor of the original house. For those guests who want to relax with a book and a glass of wine, this lovely bath contains a vintage iron tub, perfect for a late night soak.

Amenities

This 110 year old farm house used to be located on the edge of the Polk County Fair Grounds in St. Croix Falls. In 2014 it was picked up and moved to its current location in a 10 acre meadow. The result is a charming vintage house seated on a new foundation with new major appliances in the basement and kitchen. What a perfect combination! Besides those rooms listed above, you will find:

  • A cozy Living Room for quiet chats and morning coffee,
  • A comfortable Parlor for TV or DVDs,
  • A new furnace in the addition and a new UVLight Air Filter to cleanse the air during your stay.
  • Along with the standard antenna-based TV, the two Smart TVs have Blu-Ray DVD players. Guests can also enjoy some vintage vinyl music or current CDs on the new multi-use record player. We have wonderful High Speed Wireless Internet for your laptop, too.
  • A Land Line Phone is provided, in case your cell phone doesn’t like rural Wisconsin, but in general, we’ve had little problems with cell-phone coverage!
  • The facility is fully centrally air conditioned.
  • Relax and enjoy sunrise from the covered front porch, or sunset from the screen porch behind the workspace.
  • Need some exercise or a break from your crafting, take a half mile stroll through our beautiful ten acre meadow or a brisk walk for a nostalgic look at the abandoned 1950s ball park.
  • Gather your friends together for a group photo on the old farm wagon. (We’d be happy to help with that group photo or use the selfie-tripod and send us a photo too!)
